PhD Fellowships Jewish Scholarships in ICT


Jewish Scholarships Applicants must not be more than 35 years on June 20, 2011, more than 35 may be recognized by the Examination Committee.
candidates whose native language is not English should hold an internationally recognized certificate set their middle-level knowledge of English.

Position and Grants:

6 positions with 6 scholarships (amounting to € 14.500 per year + free meals at school facilities canteen + Campus):

1 position for Embedded Systems curriculum
1 position for curriculum Telecommunications
3 position to Biorobotics
1 position for Perceptual Robotics

School reserves the possibility of receiving up to a maximum of 6 students without giving further or other forms of financial support.

2 positions announced in the Call is dedicated to candidates with research projects in the field of Micro-Biorobotics, because of scholarships awarded is supported in the Scuola Sant'Anna subscription agreement with the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), from Genova with the aim of promoting basic and applied research and creating a Centre Research in Micro-BioRobotics at Scuola Sant'Anna.

Jewish Scholarships Application and attachments

- Attachment for a hard copy of the application:

copies of their passports;
two complete copies of their Curriculum Vitae et Studiorum covers scientific training, professional experience, publications and all other information that might help in the evaluation of candidates, please use the EU model. ;
photocopy Candidate's University Masters Degree (which will be translated in Italian or in English except for those written in French, German, Spanish)
detailed list of academic courses taken. This list should contain information about credits, units (or equivalent) is received, the value received for each class taken, and at the time of examination (or semester) the end sought;
one copy of their degree thesis (or two abstracts in English) and a copy of every other publication that they deem fit;
certificate of knowledge of English;
two copies of the Research Project, no more than 3,000 words describing the research activities that the applicant wants to do for a PhD. The
Jewish Scholarships research project will include:
title;
where relevant scientific literature;
objectives and expectations of research;
experimental methods and data analysis methods to be used, if necessary, appropriate;
at least two recommendation letters written by members of the Faculty or other academics who have been assessed and / or supervised the applicant work during his studies at the university, offers a comparative evaluation of learning achievement, research potential, maturity, and the tendency of professional candidates;
numbered list of documents attached.
